Nothing Much: A BubbleLove Update

March 28, 2009

Joss Stone - Super Duper Love

Hmm, nothing much. Just felt like blogging. Without anything to blog about exactly.

I started reading The Time Traveler’s Wife this morning. Got around to only about two pages when my sister rang me over at Skype. :] Miss her.

So yeah. I better get going now if I want to get revision and homework done. After next week, I’ll be having my Easter holidays for a fortnight. I don’t know how I’m going to spend it yet. I hope my ‘rents will let me get on a train or something on my own. I feel the need to explore the world again.

Or just the next city at the very least.

Daylight-saving time starts tomorrow at 1:00 AM. Hurray for spring!

It’s still freezing, though. Oh, well. At least the sun’s out.

I’ll try and give something back to Mother Earth tonight. Have you switched your lights off today

Gobsmacked: A BubbleLove Update

March 27, 2009

Aly & AJ - Chemicals React

Just before I get on with what I’m meant to blog about today…

Hey, i.ph! Snazzy-looking toolbar thingy up there, huh? :] And you changed the favicon, too! I do like the new design but I think I prefer the old one better. But good job, anyway. :]

And the New Post thing does not open in a new window anymore. I guess it’s a good thing. I don’t know if you’ve put up any more changes to the interface but I’ll have a play around it after I post this entry.

So back to the update.

Oh my goodness - do I have to be such a turn-off? You see, my friend and I have our lunch here at home every single schoolday. I’m pretty much comfortable around her and I don’t even mind my table etiquette when I’m with her. Our kitchen does not really look like a proper kitchen since one whole wall is made of glass and I like looking out of it every now and then. We were eating our lunch today and I was talking again, as usual, while chewing. Lol. I know it’s kind of a bad habit but I only do it when the only person who can see me is Dana. Lol. And she doesn’t mind ^_^

And what is the point in closing your mouth when chewing? Talking while doing so saves a lot of time! With only about half an hour for our lunchbreak, isn’t it a good idea to make the most of it by sharing good ol’ gossip over food?

Nah, I’m kidding. ^_^ I’ll behave na nga.

So yeah. While I was talking to her (and openly harassing my food at the same time. Lol) I glanced out the window for no reason at all. And lo and behold came A (who I am going to call A in this blog since I don’t want my parents getting any ideas. Lol) and he looked through the window straight at me. He must have seen the chewed-up adobo in my mouth since I was talking so fast. Lol. Total turn-off. Urgh.

But he waved, anyway. So it wasn’t really that bad. Mwahaha :]

Man, I hate sharing a house with a cute guy.

Kids backpacks

March 26, 2009

I’m spending the summer in Asia and I just can’t wait! ^_^ I’ve never really experienced any travel hassles when I was younger but I found that carrying toddler backpacks and kids backpacks made it easier for children to easily reach for their necessities such as food and toys. A nap mat is also essential when taking part in sleepovers because they ensure comfort and do not take up much space when storing. It can be a little tricky to enjoy your holidays while looking after your children but with these items available at Posylane’s, everyone can make the most of their time.

The Wife: A BubbleLove Haul

March 25, 2009

Annie Lennox - Waiting in Vain

Mwahahahahahahaha. Finally. I have my own copy of Audrey Niffenegger’s The Time Traveler’s Wife now.

This’ll keep me occupied during the Easter holidays. Especially when I get my dose of depression with exams and stuff. This’ll be my drug.

I know I look wasted today. Plus, I’m having a bad hair day. Which is why I tied it up. But, oh well. I found the book naman eh. :] And I got it for only £1 at the book sale. Yay! ^_^

Needles: A BubbleLove Update

March 23, 2009

Ang putla. Lol. Sorry, tinurukan eh. ^_^

I had my vaccination done today - make that two. One’s for cervical cancer and the other one’s for the MMR thing.

Actually, the cervical cancer thing was the one which I have to get a vaccine for today. But the nurse said I have to do the MMR one later on so why don’t I just get it done today? And ako, tatanga-tanga, nag-yes naman. I don’t know why I agreed to her suggestion. Sure, it’ll save me some time kaya lang masakit pala kapag dalawa. Lol ^_^

But I’m okay now. Wala ding mangyayari kung magooverreact ako. Lol :] My arms are just a bit sore. But I’ll live. :]

By the way, do check out my haul thing from my previous entry if you haven’t done so yet. ^_^

Duvet Day: A BubbleLove Haul

Corinne Bailey Rae - Put Your Records On

I did say yesterday that I’ll be doing my haul today. So here’s a little something.

The ‘rents and I spent Mothers’ Day (Sunday) at Newcastle, which is the city just next to where we live. It was freezing cold that day - a great contrast to how sunny it was here in Sunderland. Anyhoo, we did attend Mass and then got some mian bao at this little Chinese bakery which is definitely my favourite shop now ^_^ I really really really love that bakery - you can smell their bread from miles away! And they’re delicious, too - the bread, I mean. I had sausage rolls. Yum. :]

My parents let me wander off after that - which is great since they never really let me out of their sight whenever we go to Newcastle. I am still on the verge of finding my prom dress but unfortunately I wasn’t able to find one that day. Maybe it’s because I don’t really know what I’m looking for. Nyahaha ^_^ I mean, I think I’d like to get a mini-dress for my prom - but I’m not entirely sure yet. Maybe a long one would work, too? I don’t know. Lol.

By the way, here’s the new hair. Lol. I wouldn’t really call it new since there really isn’t that much of a change when I got it done (and, well, new isn’t really the right adjective for it, is it?). I got it shortened but I think it looks a lot longer now. Lol ^_^

I do apologize for our messed-up bathroom. Lol ^_^

Okay, time for the haul. I didn’t buy much. Just two pieces of clothing.

I love this jacket. It’s a mini one which goes just halfway your upper body. It’s so tiny - I love it talaga. Lol :] They had another one in bright red and I really liked the red one but they didn’t have my size so I got the blue na lang. I love the blue din naman ^_^ And (!) it’s 1/4 the original price. The shop was going to close na kasi so they’ve got everything on sale. It’s really nice how it has that military feel to it.

Now this coat is another one which I adore. It’s white and it’s warm and it’s love :] I love the ribbon thingy around the waist - it gives it that snug fit. And it’s just so cute :] Lol ^_^ It probably looks like a straitjacket to you - but that’s alright. Who said I’m a normal person, anyway? Nyahaha :]

We got some shoes for my Ate, too - like, really summery ones. We bought two. Lol. I won’t take a picture of it na lang because that would spoil the fun on my Ate’s part. Lol ^_^
