Mario - How Do I Breathe
Photo blog for now. I don’t really know how to explain what went on during my holidays. Had a lot of fun, though. I’m really really really missing my family right now. Hopefully I can visit them again soon :] The 18-hour flight was definitely worth it. Even with the turbulence and all, I’d say this is one of the most memorable trips I’ve had.
Isn’t the airport at Dubai so fun?
Corny as it may sound but my Ate is my best friend ^_^
I miss this - you know, having that one person in the world whom you can share your secrets with. And not get embarrassed at doing so :]
The nice thing about being Filipino is that family ties aren’t limited. The branches reach far and wide - from cousins, to second cousins, and so on ^_^ Of course, other nationalities have extended families, too. But they aren’t too close with them the way we are with ours, am I right? ^_^
I wouldn’t know how to describe my Kuya in a single word. But I guess ‘amazing’ would just sum it all up.
Neighbours are fun, too! And they still remember you even after all those years! ^_^
I’m sorry, I just had to post this. Yet another nurse of the family. Haha ^_^ (Ako lang yata ang hindi nurse. Lol)
If I could just bring all of my cousins here, I would. I seriously miss them.
The thing about holidays is that you should immerse yourself in the culture and spirit of the place you’re visiting. The thing about this holiday, on the other hand, is to get away from it all and simply reconnect with loved ones and mend the strings which have been tampered on by distance and time. It felt wonderful being able to talk to each of my family members and just relive the memories. I have to admit we didn’t really go anywhere nice (mainly because everyone was busy due to school and work), hence, the lack of sights in the photos above.
If truth be told, I didn’t need to go anywhere else. I was home. I was happy. And I still am. ^_^
